Notice: eTRAKiT Permit System Issues
We are currently experiencing issues with our eTRAKiT permit application system. If you are unable to locate the permit type you need, please check back daily as we work to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
If you have work scheduled within the next seven (7) days and need immediate authorization to proceed, please email PWPermits@c3gov.com and include your Traffic Control Plan (TCP) and any additional project plans for review. If you are a new applicant with Commerce City, you will also need to provide your Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Contractor's License.
For emergency requests, please contact PWPermits@c3gov.com immediately.
Please note that any work performed while the permit system is unavailable may only proceed with express written authorization from the City. By proceeding under written authorization, applicants agree to submit the appropriate permit application and pay all associated permit fees once the system is restored.

Commerce City's online permitting system offers an easy, convenient way to submit permit applications for development projects, add contractors to your project, pay fees, download permits, schedule inspections, see inspection results, and so much more without ever leaving your home or office.
All materials submitted with your application become public record and are subject to the Colorado Open Records Act (CORA).
