The Mobile Service Pilot Program is a new initiative designed to bring city services directly into Commerce City’s neighborhoods, schools, parks, and community events. Built around the “City Connect” model, the pilot uses an existing city-owned vehicle to deliver service in a flexible, accessible, and community-centered way—reducing barriers for residents who may have difficulty traveling to city facilities. The pilot program’s goals include expanding access to city services, increasing civic engagement and trust through face‑to‑face interactions, and strengthening cross‑departmental collaboration, all while maintaining a positive community-focused approach.

This pilot originates from the leadership and direction of City Manager Rogers, whose vision for more accessible, equitable, and resident‑focused Service  delivery inspired the development of this program. Under that direction, staff crafted a bilingual, community‑oriented outreach model with a branded vehicle, rotating Service  offerings, and engagement strategies informed by data, internal coordination, and ongoing community events. Together, these elements form a pilot designed not only to meet residents where they are, but to strengthen trust, visibility, and connection between the city organization and the community it serves.
