Stampede Park

The city is working on a refresh at Stampede Park. The park is located in the Villages at Buffalo Run West Subdivision at 11755 Fairplay Street. 

Concept

Refresh features will include: 

  • New Playground Expansion for Older Children
  • Flush restroom
  • Full-court basketball court
  • New Irrigation

Stampede Park Renovations

The new 2,560 square feet playground replacement was installed in 2024, which is designed for younger children. The city will be expanding the playground to create space for additional play features for older children in response to community feedback. A community engagement process is underway in Q3 2026 to provide feedback on desired playground amenities and select a playground design. Additional renovations also include a 50-foot by 84-foot basketball court, a new irrigation system, and updated flush restroom.
