Fairfax Park

Fairfax Park is located at 6850 Fairfax Drive and is the second larges park in the city at 23 acres.

The city is working on a refresh at Fairfax Park, including:

  • a new inclusive playground with poured-in-place surfacing and added shade (complete)
  • flush restroom to replace the vault restroom
  • portable restroom enclosure (complete)
  • resurfacing of the basketball and futsal courts (complete)
  • enhanced playground lighting and shade for benches

Playground Design Winner

In early 2024, community members voted on a preferred design for the playground and the winning design was installed and opened to the public in Spring 2025. The new playground offers a safe and accessible play environment for all with swings, wheel of fun panels, slides, climbers, and ADA ramps with sensory rails! The playground includes enhanced shade to make play more comfortable during summer. Let's create a place where every child can play, explore, and grow together!
