Outdoor Adventure Programs

Registration opens February 10, 2026 at 10 a.m.

Summer Outdoor Recreation Programs offer weekly activities four days per week for teens, with new experiences and adventures in the outdoors each day. Participants experience new opportunities, test their limits, and discover everything the outdoors has to offer.

Cherry Creek Family Camping Trip
Ages 5+
6/27-6/28
Generation Wild Northeast Metro Coalition work together to provide outdoor opportunities to youth and families. This is our first partner camping trip together. Families with kids 5 and up are welcome. Come camp with us at the group campsite at Cherry Creek Reservoir and enjoy outdoor programming, food and fun!

Bilingual Family Camping Trip

Enjoy fishing, archery, hiking, and plenty of time around the campfire. Transportation provided from Bison Ridge Recreation Center to Cal-Wood Outdoor Center near Boulder for an overnight family camping trip. All the gear and delicious meals provided.

Cherry Creek Family Camping Trip

Generation Wild Northeast Metro Coalition hosts this family-friendly camping trip at Cherry Creek State Park. Campsites, food, programming, and fun included.

Camp is a 4 day/3 night overnight camp. Transportation is provided from Bison Ridge Recreation Center to YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado.

You must have an approved ActiveNet login. Please make sure your account is set up prior to registration day. Once you log in, you are able to search the classes by the week or ActiveNet number. Choose what class sessions you would like to register for within the week, or select the entire week. When you are ready to check out, you must pay in full.

Summer Enrichment Programs offers innovative, challenging, and fun summer classes in a variety of topics. Providing an opportunity for every child to explore new subjects, learn new skills, and discover new interests in a positive and engaging environment. Licensed Summer Camps

New Registration Process for Licensed Summer Camps!

All registration will be online only through your ActiveNet account. Please make sure your account is set up prior to registration day. Once you have an approved ActiveNet account, you are able to log in and search "Youth Camp Venture" or Teen Adventure Trek". You have the option to choose which weeks to sign up for by checking the box on each week, or selecting all weeks.

The first week is due up front and is non-refundable.

Once you are registered, fill out the enrollment packet.

You can email Youth Services staff for more information.

Registration opens February 10 at 10 a.m. for Commerce City residents. Non residents may register starting February 11.

Teen Adventure Trek

Adventure Trek offers youth ages 11-14 a new trip every day. Participants travel off-site for activities such as the zoo, amusement parks, and water-based fun. Drop off and pick up is at the Eagle Pointe Recreation Center.

Youth Camp Venture

Youth Camp Venture is a licensed camp for children ages 6 to 10. Children enjoy arts and crafts, hands-on STEAM activities, active play, refreshing swimming, and fun-filled weekly field trips.
