brings holiday cheer to Commerce City this season
GRAND OPENING SET FOR DEC. 3 AT THE CITY’S HOLIDAY TREE LIGHTING
COMMERCE CITY, COLO. (Nov. 6, 2026) – This holiday season, Commerce City is proud to introduce the Winter Wonderland Ice Rink & Merry Market, a special outdoor experience bringing festive lights, cheerful music, local shopping opportunities, and seasonal activities to our community. The ice rink and market will be located in the Commerce City Civic Center parking lot at 7887 E. 60th Ave.
The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink will officially open to the public on Wednesday, Dec. 3, during Commerce City’s Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration, beginning at 5 p.m. The opening night will feature carriage rides, live reindeer, a visit from Santa, free sweet treats from Rebel Cookie Dough, local vendors, holiday performances, and activities for all ages.
“Winter Wonderland brings the heart of the season to our community,” said City Manager Jason Rogers. “This experience creates a welcoming space for people to gather, celebrate one another, and support our community’s small business and creative talent.”
The Merry Market aims to feature rotating local vendors and artists over the first three weekends of December, offering handcrafted gifts, art, and festive goods. Each weekend will bring new makers and experiences.
A full schedule of themed nights, family activities, and community partner features will be announced soon at c3gov.com/WinterWonderland. Residents are encouraged to sign up for email updates to be among the first to receive announcements.
Vendor applications for the Merry Market are now open. Local small businesses and artists are invited to apply online at https://legacyhospitalitygrp.com/commerce-city-vendor-form.
