Road work planned at E. 120th Avenue and Chambers Road

Crews will be milling and paving the intersection of E. 120th Avenue and Chambers Road Thursday, Sept. 24, through Sunday, Sept. 27, as part of the E. 120th Avenue Improvements.

 

What to expect:

  • Thursday, Sept. 24 – Friday, Sept. 25: Milling work will take place, with lane closures managed by uniformed traffic control personnel and flaggers.
  • Saturday, Sept. 26 – Sunday, Sept. 27: Paving will take place. Northbound Chambers Road will be closed during paving operations.
    • During the northbound closure, drivers should use E. 119th Place to Jasper Street as the posted detour.

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra time when traveling through the area.

Please slow down, follow posted signs and directions from traffic control personnel, and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
