Request the Mobile Service Unit for your event
Published on August 11, 2026
Commerce City has taken city services directly into the community through the launch of the Mobile Service Unit (MSU), a flexible, community-centered initiative designed to meet residents where they are.
The MSU uses an existing city-owned vehicle to bring services, resources, and staff directly into neighborhoods, parks, schools, and community events. The program aims to make city services more accessible while creating more opportunities for residents to connect face-to-face with city staff in welcoming community spaces. Residents visiting the MSU will be able to learn about programs and services, including AccessC3, the MyC3 Tool Rental Trailer Program, registration for recreation programs and activities, passport appointment scheduling, the ACT program, and opportunities to serve on city boards and commissions.
In efforts of making it more accessible, community groups, including residents, businesses, and non-profits, can request the MSU to appear at their event/gathering including but not limited to community events, philanthropic events, block parties, and more.
