High winds and fire danger return Friday, Dec. 19

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning and Red Flag Warning for Friday, Dec. 19. While the strongest gusts (up to 100 mph) are expected further west, Commerce City should prepare for strong sustained winds and gusts between 40-60 mph.
