Scholarships
Administered by the Quality Community Foundation
Each year, QCF Community Scholarships and Curt Holland Police Scholarships are awarded to assist students seeking a post-secondary education. Recipients receive between $4,000 - $8,000 over a four-year period dependent upon the scholarship. This year, scholarships are funded with monies raised from the Curt Holland Memorial Golf Tournament.
Scholarship Program Criteria
2025 QCF Community Scholarship
- Resident of City of Commerce City; and
- Pursuing first undergraduate degree or technical certification; and
- Attending college, university or technical school in Colorado; and
- Cumulative High School GPA of 2.0 or higher, or verification of GED; and
- Graduation date or GED recipient date of Spring 2025 or earlier; and
- Application must be received by the deadline.
2025 Curt Holland Police Scholarship
- Applicant must be a child/minor dependent of current Commerce City Police Department (CCPD) employee or a CCPD employee; and
- Pursuing first undergraduate degree or technical certification in Fall 2025; and
- Attending College, University, or Technical School; and
- Cumulative High School GPA of 2.0 or higher; and
- Applicant may reside anywhere; and
- Recipients will be awarded between $4,000 to $8,000 paid over 4-years.

- Scholarship Applications Available – February 3, 2025
- Scholarship Applications Due – March 31, 2025
- Scholarship Recipients Notified – May 2025
