Scholarships
Administered by the Quality Community Foundation
Each year, QCF Community Scholarships and Curt Holland Police Scholarships are awarded to assist students seeking a post-secondary education. Recipients receive up to $4,000 for the QCF Community Scholarship and up to $8,000 for the Curt Holland Police Scholarship over a four-year period. This year, scholarships are funded with monies raised from the Curt Holland Memorial Golf Tournament.
Scholarship Program Criteria
2026 QCF Community Scholarship
- Resident of City of Commerce City; and
- Pursuing first undergraduate degree or technical certification; and
- Planning to enroll in a technical college, two-year college, or four-year college or university. Students attending schools in Colorado will receive priority consideration; and
- Cumulative High School GPA of 2.0 or higher, or verification of GED; and
- Graduation date or GED recipient date of Spring 2026 or earlier; and
- Application must be received by the deadline.
2026 Curt Holland Police Scholarship
- Applicant must be a legal dependent of current Commerce City Police Department (CCPD) employee or retired CCPD employee of 20+ years; and
- Applicant may reside anywhere; and
- Pursuing first undergraduate degree or technical certification; and
- Planning to enroll in a technical college, two-year college, or four-year college or university; and
- Cumulative High School GPA of 2.0 or higher; or verification of GED; and
- Graduation date or GED recipient date of Spring 2026 or earlier; and
- Application must be received by the deadline.
