The Commerce City Cultural Council is excited to announce the inaugural Commerce City Eats Week, September 22-30, 2019. This week-long program is designed to highlight local restaurants and bring residents and visitors together through a celebration of food.

Council Establishment

The Cultural Council is a nonprofit organization enabled by Title 7 of the Colorado Revised Statutes.

Mission

To bring together the Community by embracing and creating experiences through art, music, theatre, dance and culturally diverse efforts. The Cultural Council facilitates this by encouraging, promoting and developing programs, for the arts, heritage and cultural enrichment of Commerce City and partnering communities.

Vacancies

There are currently four vacancies on the cultural council for one alternate member and three possible regular members.

Members

The council consists of at least seven, but no more than 15 members. The council is comprised of at least one City Council member, one alternate member, and five to thirteen members who either reside or work in Commerce City. Members are appointed by city council. Members serve for a three year term.

The council meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Civic Center.
