2nd Annual Active Adults Yard Sale

Get ready to treasure-hunt for a great cause! Our 2nd Annual Yard Sale is coming up, and every item sold helps support the GoodFriends Scholarship program.

September 14-15, 2026 | 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Bison Ridge Community Rooms

Items priced to sell. Cash and credit/debit cards accepted.

Accepting Donations

We'd love your donations! Items should be new or gently used and in good condition.

August 1-September 10, 2026 | 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Bison Ridge Active Adult Center (drop-off location)

Need help unloading? We have carts and hands to help. Call the Active Adult Center at 303-286-4389 when you arrive, and we'll come out to the front of the building to assist.

We are looking for:

Home goods
Working appliances, tools, and small electronics (microwaves, etc.)
Books (children's and adult)
Holiday décor
Glassware, dishes, and kitchenware
Jewelry
Children's toys
Collectables and vintage items

We cannot accept:

Items that are too large to transport easily (furniture, mattresses, large exercise equipment)
Broken or damaged items (cracked glassware, torn books, missing parts)
Anything that does not turn on or work properly (appliances, electronics)
Recalled or expired items (car seats, helmets, expired food or medicine)

Volunteer With Us

Help make this year's sale a success! We're looking for volunteers to assist with sorting donations, setting up the sale, working tables during the event, and breaking down afterward. Contact the Active Adult Team to sign up or call (303) 289- 3764.

GoodFriends Scholarship Program

Partial assistance is available for older adults needing financial help to participate in recreation programs. All Commerce City residents 60+ qualify. Let the registration desk know you'd like to utilize the GoodFriends scholarship and use up to $75 annually in program funding.
