The Commerce City Police Department invites families to its third annual Cops for Inclusion, a special event designed for children with diverse abilities and their families. Join us on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Commerce City Civic Center (7887 E. 60th Ave.) for a welcoming and inclusive day of connection with local officers.

Cops for Inclusion is a unique “meet and greet” experience created specifically for neurodiverse children and their families. Participants will reserve a one-hour time block to interact with officers in a calm, supportive environment tailored for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other diverse abilities. During the event, kids will have the opportunity to meet officers, explore police equipment, and build positive relationships with members of the department. Healthy snacks will also be provided throughout the event. Families interested in attending are encouraged to reserve a time block in advance
