Join CCPD for a community kick off event to National Night Out
Published on July 11, 2024
Commerce City is gearing up for its annual National Night Out celebrations, starting with a kick-off event on Tuesday, July 30, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Joe Reilly Park. This new event promises an evening filled with FREE food, games, and an opportunity for residents to connect with community safety resources.
The National Night Out initiative aims to foster relationships between community members and law enforcement, as well as to promote crime prevention. The kick-off event sets the stage for the main festivities, which will take place across various locations in Commerce City on Tuesday, August 6.
Residents interested in hosting a block party for the National Night Out on August 6 are encouraged to get involved. These events provide a unique opportunity for community members to interact with first responders, build stronger neighborhood ties, and stand united against crime. Those interested in hosting can contact the Commerce City Police Department's Administrative staff at division-pdadmin@c3gov.com to register their block party. Hosts may also qualify for a gift card to help cover the event's costs. For more information, visit c3gov.com/CCPD-in-the-Community.
