Buffalo Run Golf Course Launches First-Ever Private Golf Cart Pilot Program

Buffalo Run Golf Course today announced the launch of its inaugural Private Golf Cart Pilot Program, allowing participants to bring and use their privately-owned golf carts on the course for a part of the 2026 season. The program, a first in the course's history, is open to the first 50 approved applicants and runs from May 1 through October 31, 2026.

Participants will be required to complete a cart safety inspection and registration prior to their first use, and a daily use fee will apply each time a private cart is brought to the course. Information packets outlining the full program requirements, restrictions, and fee structure are available at the Buffalo Run Pro Shop and online at buffalorungolfcourse.com.

Golfers interested in participating in the pilot program are encouraged to act quickly, as the program is limited to 50 permits. To apply, individuals should:

  • Pick up or download the information packet from the Buffalo Run Pro Shop or at buffalorungolfcourse.com.
  • Complete and submit the application online or in person at the pro shop.
  • Schedule and complete a cart safety inspection at Buffalo Run Golf Course.
  • Pay the registration fee and receive an official permit decal upon approval.
  • Pay the daily use fee at check-in each time the cart is brought to the course.
  • Display the permit visibly on the cart at all times while on Buffalo Run property.

Applications are currently being accepted. Because the program is limited to 50 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Information packets are available and can also be downloaded online.
