Commerce City transitioning to Jaggaer Sourcing Platform in 2027

Published on October 21, 2026

Office supplies on a desk, including a paper that says, in big letters: BUSINESS PROPOSAL.

The City of Commerce City will transition from BidNet to the Jaggaer Sourcing platform beginning January 1, 2027. Currently, the city publishes bids and requests for proposal (RFP) opportunities through BidNet, and vendors use that platform to submit responses. Beginning in 2027, both functions will move to Jaggaer.

To help ensure a smooth transition, vendors are encouraged to create a free Jaggaer account now. The period between now and January 1, 2027, is intended to give businesses enough time to register and familiarize themselves with the new system. When creating a Jaggaer account, vendors will be asked to select commodity codes that correspond to the goods and services they provide. These selections are important because they help ensure vendors receive email notifications about Commerce City opportunities that match their offerings.

Key dates and information:

  • Creating a Jaggaer account is free

  • Vendors should complete registration before January 1, 2027

  • Bid opportunities and proposal submissions will move from BidNet to Jaggaer beginning January 1, 2027
