Commerce City Launches Campaign for Industrial and Business Growth
Published on April 22, 2026
Commerce City, COLO. (April 22, 2026) – Today, Commerce City Economic Development unveils a bold new integrated marketing and community engagement campaign designed to cement Commerce City’s standing as Colorado’s premier destination for industrial, logistics, and business growth.
Dubbed “Commerce City Delivers”, the campaign highlights the city’s industrial credibility, unmatched connectivity, and rapid community growth into a clear, differentiated story for businesses, investors, and site selectors. The effort is designed to attract new site-selector inquiries and capital investment, deepen relationships with the city’s existing business community, and secure Commerce City’s long-term position as the capital for logistics, industrial, and advanced manufacturing projects across the Mountain West.
“Commerce City has always delivered on infrastructure, on connectivity, and on opportunity,” said Keith Morey, Director of Economic and Community Vitality. “This campaign gives us the bold, unified voice to tell that story to our community here and across the world. We’re not just competing for the next great logistics investment. We’re claiming our rightful place as a growth engine of Colorado’s economy.”
Commerce City’s population has tripled since 2000, driven by one of Colorado’s youngest and most diverse workforces, with a median age of 34 and a nearly 50% Hispanic/Latino population that provides a dynamic, multicultural talent pipeline.
That growth is matched by unrivaled infrastructure. Commerce City sits at the intersection of three major interstates and two Class I freight rail lines, with direct adjacency to Denver International Airport (DEN). The city is home to Colorado’s only petroleum refinery and serves as a regional hub for major distribution operations, including Amazon, FedEx, UPS, McLane, and Old Dominion.
With major infrastructure investments underway and the largest inventory of growth-ready industrial land in proximity to DEN in the entire Denver metro region, Commerce City offers what no other Colorado city can: the connectivity, capacity, and confidence that serious business expansion demands.
In the coming weeks and months, Commerce City will roll out creative concepts that highlight its core promise both literally and metaphorically. Juxtaposing delivery visuals with bold claims about growth, talent, and opportunity, the campaign is built around three key message pillars:
-
Delivering Connection: DEN adjacency, three interstates, Class I freight rail, and a diverse, growing talent base that links companies to markets across the globe;
-
Delivering Scale: Development-ready industrial land, major infrastructure investments, and a rapidly expanding workforce that gives businesses the capacity to grow with purpose;
-
Delivering Momentum: A proven track record of global employers, ongoing investment, and community growth that creates stability and trajectory for long-term business success.
“We’re very excited to be in Commerce City. For those of us who are still working in the office and warehouse, it's a nice commute,” said Patrick Mullen, Branch Manager of Border States. “It still gives us access to the Denver metro area, easy access to highways north, south, east, and west, and on a clear day, the view of the mountains is amazing.”
