Join us at Bison Ridge for the next SpeakUp Commerce City
Published on September 22, 2025
Do you want to share your thoughts on city projects and programs, or ask questions about what’s happening around Commerce City? Come to SpeakUp Commerce City, a new type of interactive event that makes it easy to connect with city staff and elected officials.
Instead of a formal meeting, SpeakUp Commerce City offers a casual, drop-in format where you can explore what interests you. Stop by different tables to provide input on projects or programs, learn about city services, and ask questions. If you don’t have specific issues in mind, bring your curiosity and find out what’s new, or chat with a City Council member about what’s happening in your neighborhood.
Following this year's first event at Eagle Pointe Recreation Center on Aug. 20, we hope you'll join us for this year's second and final SpeakUp event:
- Thursday, Sept. 25, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Bison Ridge Recreation Center, 13905 E. 112th Ave.
- Topics and departments to be featured include:
- ACT program
- Community Well-Being
- Housing Needs Assessment
- Land Development Code updates
- Code Enforcement
- Xeriscaping
- Transportation Master Plan
- Chambers Road Widening Project
- Commerce City Promise program + Community College of Aurora
- Police Department
- Finance Department
- Human Resources
- City Council representatives will be in attendance as well!
SpeakUp is your chance to have a say and share your thoughts to help shape our community’s future. City Council members and staff from departments across the city’s organization will be on hand to collect your input! Learn more at c3gov.com/SpeakUp.
