The following is a recap of actions taken/votes held by City Council on each agenda item: 

  • Public Comment
  • Noticed Council Business on a request for recommendations to update the city’s noise ordinance at a study session by the end of Q3 (Passed 9-0)
  • Public Hearing on amending the PUD zone document to modify allowable uses, establish development standards and expand the boundary of the Hogan Property east of Chambers Road and north of E. 101st Way (Motion to continue to Sept. 21 - Passed 7-2)
  • Consent Agenda - 7 items, including sponsorships, budget ordinances, and contract approvals, and more (Passed 9-0)
  • Ordinances on First Reading involving annexation of the property at the northwest corner of E. 88th Avenue and Tower Road and zoning that property in the city’s Agricultural zone district (Both passed 9-0, Public Hearing on Aug. 3)
  • Administrative Council Business
    • Request for a study session about Chambers Road widening, traffic impacts, and timeline (Passed 9-0)
