The following is a recap of actions taken/votes held by City Council on each agenda item: 

  • Public Comment  

  • Noticed Council Business on: 

  • Change to City Council representation on the Rotary Club 

  • Change to city representation on the Friends of Front Range Wildlife Refuges

  • Initial votes tied 4-4 with one excused absence, later revisited to appoint Councilmember Teter to the FFRWR (Passed 8-0)
  • Request for a pavement assessment and potential maintenance options for certain city neighborhoods (Passed 7-1)

  • Presentations on: 

  • Environmental Policy and Innovation Commission annual update 

  • Budget session - Draft of 2027-2031 Capital Investment Program 

  • Consent Agenda (Six items, including various ordinances, a contract award for a community ice rink, Proclamation for Employee Appreciation Month, and more)

    • Community ice rink (Passed 8 - 0)
    • Amending 2026 budget for community ice rink (Passed 8 - 0)
  • Ordinance on First Reading to create and Arts & Culture Commission (converting from the current Cultural Council) (Passed 8 - 0)

  • Administrative Council Business 

  •       Request for the Policy and Governance Committee to explore moving Council Reports to right after Public Comment on City Council agendas (Passed 8-0)

  • Executive Session on legal advice on potential negotiating strategy related to Victory Crossing
