The Community Well-Being Division is excited to announce the return of its annual Backpack Giveaway event to support children as they prepare to go back to school in partnership with 180 Community Church, and the South Adams County Fire District. This initiative aims to ensure that every child has the necessary supplies to start the school year off right. Each backpack will come prefilled with essential school supplies, making it easier for families to get ready for the new academic year.

This family-friendly free event is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pioneer Park, 5950 Holly St. To ensure that every child receives a backpack, pre-registration is required. Families are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their spot and avoid any disappointment.
