Long-Term Financial Plan
Commerce City is fully committed to budgeting responsibly and maintaining a sustainable financial outlook for the future. As our community continues to grow and the cost of providing services rises, the city is taking a deeper dive into long-term financial forecasting. This Long-Term Financial Planning effort will help the city go beyond the normal annual budgeting process to better project future trends and plan for long-term goals over the next decade.
Keeping the community informed and educated is a key part of this project, and we are collecting public feedback to make sure community priorities are always top of mind. Residents are invited to bring your curiosity and questions to a pair of town hall meetings to learn more about Long-Term Financial Plan:

5:30 – 7 p.m. (both events)
Town Halls will include an overview about Long-Term Financial Planning, along with group discussion topics such as how the city provides essential services, potential budget-balancing solutions for the future, and determining the plan’s long-term success.
