Establishment

The Arts & Culture Commission is a nonprofit organization enabled by Title 7 of the Colorado Revised Statutes.

Mission

To bring together the Community by embracing and creating experiences through art, music, theatre, dance and culturally diverse efforts. The Arts & Culture Commission facilitates this by encouraging, promoting and developing programs, for the arts, heritage and cultural enrichment of Commerce City and partnering communities.

Programs and Activities

Members coordinate culturally diverse events such as the annual Music in the Park summer concert series and resident art exhibitions at the Recreation Centers. The Arts & Culture Commission also administers public art in the city.

Meeting

The council meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
