The DEI Commission invites the community to this FREE event celebrating Black History Month with the movie Soul (rated PG). Celebrate Black identity, artistry, and the joy of truly living. Soul is about Joe Gardner, a middle-school band teacher passionate about jazz, whose soul gets separated from his body after a near-death experience, sending him to “The Great Before,” a cosmic realm where new souls develop personalities before going to Earth. Soul food will be provided!
