Veterans Day Event

On Nov. 11, the nation takes time to recognize all who have served in the United States military with the observance of Veterans Day. This year, the Commerce City Veterans Commission is hosting a variety of events on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at various locations throughout the city. All community members are welcome to receive recognition or help recognize those who have served the country proudly.

Flag Raising

• 8 a.m. - Eagle Pointe Recreation Center, 6060 Parkway Dr.

Fellowship at Eagle Pointe

• 9 a.m. – Coffee, donuts
• 10 a.m. – Oil painting lessons
• 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Light lunch
