Park Shelter & Trail Rentals
Park Shelters
The city is home to 20 parks, half of which have shelters available to rent for family picnics, business meetings, corporate outings, or church functions. Applications for rentals are available starting March 1 and can be rented daily from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. through October. All shelters are equipped with lights and electrical outlets, however, electricity may not be available at all shelters and is complimentary to the shelter. It is not a part of the fee or paid service and we cannot guarantee power availability.
Share the Park
Introducing "Share the Park": New Same-Day Shelter Reservations at Pioneer and Veterans Memorial Parks!
We know how much you love our parks! To help more community members enjoy our popular shelters at Pioneer and Veterans Memorial Parks, we're introducing a new, flexible reservation system.
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Pioneer and Veterans Memorial Parks, shelter users must reserve a shelter to utilize it. The same day, shelter reservations are free for up to four hours through our new "Share the Park" system. It's a great way to guarantee a spot for a quick picnic or small get-together! We still offer advance shelter rentals for those planning bigger events. Our goal is to make our beautiful parks more accessible to everyone. Let's work together to share the park!

Due to liability and safety concerns, private party rental groups are prohibited from bringing inflatable play structures (also called "bounce houses", "bouncy castles", etc) into Commerce City parks.
