Emergency road closure on Yosemite Street

Commerce City residents should expect an emergency road closure on Yosemite Street between East 90th Avenue and East 92nd Avenue beginning Sunday, March 8, due to emergency railroad repairs by BNSF Railway.

The closure is expected to remain in place through Tuesday, March 10, while crews complete necessary maintenance at the railroad crossing. During the closure, drivers should use alternate routes and allow additional travel time when moving through the area.

City staff will continue coordinating with BNSF Railway to reopen the roadway as soon as repairs are complete. Updates will be provided if the timeline changes.

Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted detour signs while traveling near the work zone.
