Earn Your GED for free through the Workforce Pathway Program

Commerce City is proud to partner with Metropolitan State University’s Family Literacy Program to offer FREE GED classes for residents ages 18 and older. This exciting opportunity is part of the city’s Workforce Pathway Program, helping residents build valuable skills for future career and education goals.
Classes are offered in English and Spanish with flexible scheduling options. By committing to attend class regularly and completing the required weekly homework, you can take a big step toward earning your GED, at no cost to you.
Program Highlights:
•Hybrid classes in English & Spanish
•4 hours of online homework each week using Aztec
•Childcare provided during class sessions
To register, attend one of the following sessions at Central Elementary Community School (6450 Holly St.)
•Wednesday, August 20 @ 5:30 p.m.
•Thursday, August 21 @ 9:00 a.m.
•Thursday, August 21 @ 5:30 p.m.
Important: Please arrive on time and plan to spend approximately 1.5 hours with us. Late arrivals may not be able to register.
