The 9.5-acre park features a theme inspired by the children’s book, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.” The park is adjacent to Turnberry Elementary School, in the Turnberry neighborhood.

Special Events

Special event permits are required for park uses such as bands, neighborhood events, car show etc.

Alcohol Permits

Alcohol permits are required to consume 6% beer at all Commerce City parks. Glass containers are not allowed at any city park.

Reservations:

  • Shelters are limited to 75 people per shelter.
  • Operate as a first come first serve basis.
  • Reservations are for the pavilion only.
  • Rentals are available March-October.
  • Applications accepted beginning March 1.
  • Reservations must be made at least two weeks prior to event.
  • Reservations required.
  • Deposit and fees due at time of reservation.
  • Jumping castles/bounce houses/inflatables are not allowed in city parks.
  • All shelters are equipped with lights and electrical outlets, however, electricity may not be available at all shelters and is complimentary to the shelter. It is not a part of the fee or paid service and we cannot guarantee power availability.
