Prairie Gateway Open Space and Trail

Prairie Gateway is northeast of the Commerce City Civic Center. It is 190 acres in size. This open space offers 2.4 mile, soft surface perimeter trail, shelters, benches and overlook area with mountain views. The open space is open to the public however, this open space has a shelter area that can be rented.

Special Events	Special event permits are required for park uses such as bands, event, car show etc.
Alcohol Permits	Alcohol permits are required to consume 6% beer at all Commerce City parks. Glass containers are not allowed at any city park.
Reservations:	Shelters are limited to 75 people per shelter. Operate as a first come first serve basis. Reservations are for the pavilion only. Rentals are available March-October. Applications accepted beginning March 1. Reservations must be made at least two weeks prior to event. Reservations required to reserve a shelter. Deposit and fees due at time of reservation. Jumping castles/bounce houses/inflatables are not allowed in city parks.
