E. 64th Avenue Corridor Study
About the Project
Commerce City is conducting a comprehensive corridor study aimed at advancing our Complete Streets vision for E. 64th Avenue. The project aims to increase safety and enhance the transportation infrastructure to accommodate various modes of transportation, including pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users.
This study will consist of an evaluation of various transportation system and roadway enhancements, including multi-use paths, bike lanes, intersection safety improvements, and roadway cross-section reconfigurations. The ultimate objective is to create a safer, more accessible, and sustainable transportation network that accommodates the diverse needs of all users, whether they be pedestrians, cyclists, or motorists.

Project Goals

Project Timeline
Below are a few highlights of what to expect throughout the duration of the project:
- Fall 2024: Traffic data analysis
- Winter 2024: Public open house to understand community concerns
- Spring 2025: Public open house to review three proposed improvements
- Summer 2025: Develop draft of corridor plan
- Fall 2025: Public open house to present final concept design
- Early 2026: Final corridor plan
