Commerce City's Community Well-Being Division has launched a new Landlord Incentive Program to help connect residents in need of housing with local property owners who have available rental units. This program is part of the city's ongoing efforts to support community members facing housing challenges while helping property owners fill vacancies quickly and confidently.

“These programs create a win-win for both landlords and tenants,” said Gil Andrade, Housing Navigator for Commerce City. “They provide property owners with resources and support while helping residents in our community find safe and stable housing.”

Through the Landlord Incentive Program, property owners can receive:

  • Financial Incentives: Eligible units may qualify for funding support.
  • Housing Connector Partnerships: List available units at no cost, reaching more potential tenants.
  • Ongoing Support: Resident stability services and housing navigation assistance to help ensure successful, long-term tenancies.
