Resident survey returns to gauge community livability
Published on October 09, 2025
Commerce City is once again participating in the National Community Survey (NCS) in 2025 to collect resident feedback about the overall livability of the city. The survey captures opinions on the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment, inclusivity, engagement, and more. The results show Commerce City’s strengths, areas of improvement, and what matters most to residents.
Surveys have been mailed to approximately 3,000 residents selected at random, but equally distributed by ward boundaries across the city. Recipients will have six weeks to complete and return the survey. The survey becomes available for open participation online in late October, with data collection closing Nov. 10. Be on the lookout for the link when it becomes available Oct. 27!
City Council and staff will examine the survey results and can use data from the NCS to inform continuing conversations with community members about what the city is doing well and what can be improved. This feedback can help inform everything from updates to the city's strategic plan to everyday operational efforts. Your input can help make an impact on the city's future!
