Project Description
Commerce City is undertaking a community-wide transportation planning effort. The Transportation Master Plan will play a key role in addressing mobility in our community.
The Transportation Master Plan will:
- Establish a long-range vision for how people get around and through Commerce City.
- Develop goals, objectives, and strategies for improving transportation in Commerce City.
- Identify and prioritize projects to improve safety and mobility for walking, bicycling, driving, and riding transit in the city.

Your input is helping define current issues, goals, and desired improvements in transportation in Commerce City. We are compiling the data we received from our in-person engagement and online survey input. Safety Action Plan

The Safety Action Plan (SAP) will also play a key role in addressing mobility in our community.

Check back for future updates about the SAP as it continues to undergo development!
The Safety Action Plan will:
- Focus on current concerns and needs for transportation safety for walking, biking, driving and transit users.
- Evaluate current safety concerns and “hot spots” where a large quantity or the most severe crashes occur.
- Identify safety improvements to address crash concerns.
