Mission

The mission of the Youth Commission is to serve as the voice of Commerce City youth by generating and acting on ideas to inspire a better community today and tomorrow.

The Commerce City Youth Commission will be hosting a Town Hall on October 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Commerce City Civic Center. Community members are encouraged to save the date and stay tuned for additional event details, topics, and participation opportunities coming soon.

Establishment

The youth commission was established by Ordinance 1934.

Meeting

The Youth Commission meets on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30pm. The meeting is held at Eagle Pointe Recreation Center.

The Youth Commission welcomes student members between the ages of 13-19, and adult members that serve as mentors.
