About the Police

Founded in 1952, the Commerce City Police Department has since grown to be one of the metro area’s major enforcement agencies, serving more than 35 square miles through a wide variety of programs and services.

The police department actively embraces the community in a collaborative partnership, treating people with respect, compassion and demonstrating a commitment to exceptional service.
