Spread the Love
Each February the Spread the Love campaign encourages the donation of peanut butter and jelly jars that are then distributed to local food banks. During the 2018 campaign more than 1,800 jars were collected!
Memorial Day Parade
Commerce City is proud to hold the largest Memorial Day parade in the state with 100+ entries. From military units and bands to floats, antique cars and horse entries, the 1.5 mile parade route is popular with the entire community.
Quality Community Foundation Golf Tournament
The annual Quality Community Foundation Scholarship Golf Tournament supports post-secondary educational opportunities for Commerce City residents and will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019.
Public Works Touch-a-Truck
Learn how public works keeps the city running. Kids can climb inside snow plows, tractors and street sweepers.
Cine en el Parque
Bring your blanket, pack a picnic and watch family movies in the park this summer. Sponsored by El Comericio newspaper, the city and the police department.

Quality Community Foundation Fall Scholarship Fundraiser
Painting for a Purpose, benefiting recreational scholarships for Commerce City residents, was held on October 25 at Bison Ridge Recreation Center.

Each November, the Project Present campaign encourages sponsorships of local in-need children to receive holiday gifts. Children are nominated through their school and gifts are delivered in December. This program is made possible through the generosity of local businesses, community members and city employees. Art Show & Tree Lighting
Join the countdown and watch the festive tree lighting at this free event held at the civic center in December. View the art show sponsored by the Commerce City Cultural Council, enjoy warm refreshments and snacks, sing along with professional carolers, and mingle with elected officials and staff.
Cereal with Santa
Santa Claus visits Commerce City each year in December. This year, wear your pajamas and enjoy cereal with Santa. There will also be holiday crafts for the little ones.
