Commerce City will honor Juneteenth with a week of recognition and community events. Residents are encouraged to attend both free events in recognition of Juneteenth and its significance to American history and culture.
Monday, June 15 | 4:30 p.m. A flag-raising ceremony will take place at the Civic Center (7887 E. 60th Ave.), officially beginning the city’s observance.
Friday, June 19 | 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. The celebration continues later in the week at Pioneer Park (5950 Holly St.), featuring live entertainment, cultural programming, family-friendly activities, and community resources.
City offices will be closed in observance of Juneteenth holiday; recreation centers and the Buffalo Run Golf Course will remain open. Learn more at c3gov.com/Juneteenth.
