Support local restaurants during Takeout Tuesdays

Post Date:06/01/2020 2:53 PM

Commerce City’s “Takeout Tuesdays” promotion kicks-off June 2. This month-long program connects Commerce City residents with local restaurants while sharing information about the 2020 Census.

Residents are encouraged to support the local community by ordering a meal from a local restaurant offering delivery, drive-thru and/or carry out service. Some restaurants are offering special promotions throughout the month of June. Orders will also include information to share the importance of completing the 2020 Census. Find more information at c3gov.com/takeout.

Participating restaurants to try for Takeout Tuesdays include:

  • Delfina’s Sweets, 15550 E. 103rd Place., Suite 102
  • El Jardin Mexican Restaurant, 6460 E. 73rd Ave., ILoveElJardin.com
  • Mickey’s Express, 7770 Highway 2
  • Reunion Coffee House, 10601 Reunion Parkway, ReunionCoffeeHouse.com
  • Ted’s Philly Cheese Steaks & Mexican Grill, 7215 E. 72nd Ave.
  • Wortlewood’s Smokepit, 6200 E. 64th Ave.

The Takeout Tuesdays campaign is sponsored by the 2020 Census. The U.S. Constitution requires the United States Census Bureau to count every person living the United States. A complete and accurate count is critical for Commerce City, because the results of the 2020 Census will affect community funding, congressional representation, and more.
