Free Green Yard Waste Drop-Off Saturday, May 16

Residents are invited to dispose of compostable yard waste (i.e. grass clippings, leaves, tree limbs and other plant debris) at this free event. Collected green waste goes to a composting facility instead of the landfill. Proof of residency required, no businesses or contractors allowed.

9109 Monaco St. (located west of Monaco behind Brown Brothers Asphalt and Concrete)

A1 Organics continues to operate under recommended COVID-19 guidance by the CDC. They require social distancing while unloading yard waste and recommend proper protective equipment. They ask that cars stay at least 6 feet apart and visitors stay in your vehicle until your turn to unload.

Accepted Items:

  • Grass clippings
  • Tree limbs and shrub trimmings *cut to 8 ft. or less in length
  • Leaves
  • Plant debris
  • Weeds
  • Flowers
  • Sawdust
  • Garden materials

NOT Accepted:

  • Plywood or lumber
  • Rock, brick, pavers or flower pots
  • Construction debris
  • Sod or dirt
  • Edging/fencing
  • Animal droppings
  • Cactus or palm branches
  • Hazardous materials
  • Electronics
  • Plastic
