UPDATE: COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information
We understand the news about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) may be creating concern and worry in our community. Our priority is keeping the residents of our community safe and providing accurate information. Commerce City continues to monitor the outbreak closely and we are in close and regular contact with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Tri-County Health Department.
As of March 11, no cases have been reported in Adams County.
The city has created a COVID-19 Taskforce following guidance from local and state public health partners. We are monitoring the situation and are acting to prepare for a variety of situations. In addition, the city has activated the city’s Emergency Operations Command Center during normal operating hours to enhance interagency coordination and improve communications.
City leadership is working to ensure that measures are in place to continue vital service delivery to our residents and developing alternative strategies for essential operations. Those measures may include virtual public meetings or potentially cancelling city events or programs.
The city has created a web page where residents can stay informed on local preparation, additional resources, canceled or postponed event information, and more at http://www.c3gov.com/living-in/police-public-safety/safety-prevention/covid-19-coronavirus-information.
