Monday’s city council meeting agenda includes:

  • Ordinances amending the city tax code to adopt standardized definitions for sales and use tax; amending the 2020 city budget to recognize grant funds for bulletproof vests for the police department; approving an intergovernmental agreement with RTD for public art at the city’s new rail station; approving joint use funds for School District 27J; approving an intergovernmental agreement with other local governments for the 2020 Census; and approving updated planned unit development (PUD) zoning for the land at the northeast corner of E. 88th Avenue and Tower Road to allow residential, commercial, parks and office/flex space, and subsurface extraction of oil and gas.
  • Presentations of staff’s monthly oil and gas update, a quarterly update from Suncor refinery representatives, and awards from the Commerce City Business & Professional Association.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. and takes place at the Commerce City Civic Center, 7887 E. 60th Ave. Agendas and meeting times are subject to change. Visit www.c3gov.com/council for the most current topics.
