Commerce City voters elect a mayor and four new councilors

According to unofficial results from the Adams County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, Commerce City voters elected the mayor, council members for Ward II, Ward IV, and two at-large representatives.

Unofficial results indicate Benjamin Huseman is elected as Mayor, Jennifer Allen-Thomas is elected to represent Ward II, Susan Noble is elected to represent Ward IV, and Meghan Grimes and Craig Hurst are elected to serve as at-large council members.

Adams County will certify the 2019 election no later than November 27, 2019, consistent with state statute. During a December council meeting (date TBD), the city will recognize outgoing council members and swear in incoming elected officials. The public is invited to attend this meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. at the civic center, 7887 E. 60th Ave., with a reception to follow.
