You can help create a program for preserving Commerce City history

Post Date:08/13/2019 10:54 AM
The city needs your input to create a historic preservation program that applies principles from the city’s Historic Preservation Plan, which was adopted in 2015. Historic preservation is more than bricks and mortar – it is cultural heritage, sustainability, economic development, heritage tourism, and more.

Join us for a public meeting outlining how the city could approach the program, explaining how it can benefit homeowners, businesses, and the community at large, and to share your thoughts on historic preservation in Commerce City. The meeting will include an informational presentation and attendees can participate through discussion, written input, and additional interactive opportunities.

Historic Preservation Public Meeting

Wednesday, Aug. 21
4 – 6 p.m.
Eagle Pointe Recreation Center
6060 E. Parkway Dr.
