The Commerce City Police Department encourages residents to join this annual celebration, which brings neighborhoods together for block parties and other organized activities with local first responders to help stand against crime in the community. Officers from the Commerce City Police Department and firefighters from South Adams County Fire District visit registered events to spend time with residents and help strengthen ties with the community.

Suggested organized activities include:

  • block party/cookout
  • sidewalk art project
  • neighborhood scavenger hunt
  • flashlight walk

Be among the first to register your block party and you could receive a gift card from the police department to help host your event on August 6.

To register, contact Investigator Elizabeth Couture at or 303-727-3915.
