Commerce City’s Building Division enforces the following codes and amendments:

The 2003 International Building, Residential, Fuel Gas, Mechanical, Fire,
Energy, Existing Building, Property Maintenance, Performance, the 2006
International Plumbing Code and the 2008 National Electrical Codes. -
The ASME A 17.1 B 2003 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, and the
18.1 1991 Safety Standard for Platform Lifts and Stairway Chair Lifts.
