Community Wide Needs Assessment
In 2005, Corona Research conducted a Community Wide Needs Assessment study. The assessment consisted of comprehensive research to learn residents’ opinions, attitudes and needs regarding various city services. The research included a resident survey, focus groups, and a demographic analysis of the city’s population.
The community survey was designed to address a wide range of issues, centering on perceptions of residents’ current needs for services, both governmental and private sector, as well as their potential level of acceptance toward various services.
The study was conducted to provide robust data on residents’ needs that can be used for upcoming City planning efforts and aid City leadership to make informed decisions. The research results are also useful to local community-service organizations and individuals. The research will also be used to track progress in different areas over time.
