As part of the court process, the Judge may order an abatement. This means the violations(s) will be corrected by the city or an outside contractor. This is a court order. The cost of the work, plus fifteen (15) percent for inspection and other associated costs will be charged to the property owner/occupant. You will have 30 days to pay for the abatement or a lien will be filed against the property.
