SPECIAL MEETING OF

COMMERCE CITY COUNCIL

CALL TO ORDER

A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Commerce City was called to order by Mayor Paul Natale on January 10, 2008, at 5:35 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Present:

Mayor Natale, presiding,

Mayor Pro-Tem Drotar

Councilman Benson

Councilman Jaquith

Councilman Johnson

Councilman McEldowney

Councilwoman Snyder

Councilwoman Teter

Excused:

Councilman Lewis

MOTIONS:

Council members Snyder and Drotar moved and seconded to go into an executive session for the purpose of a receiving legal advice on a personnel matter under C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(f) and Section 4.24(b) of the Commerce City Home Rule Charter and not  involving any specific employees who have requested discussion of the matter in open session.

VOICE VOTE:  Unanimous; all present affirmed

Council met in executive session from 5:38 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.

Council members Drotar and Snyder moved and seconded to appoint Jennifer Seda as special legal counsel for the City of Commerce City to perform duties as assigned by the City Council.

VOICE VOTE:  Unanimous; all present affirmed

ADJOURNMENT:

The special meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
